An amazingly crafted and carefully painted "Sleeping St. Joseph" figurine inspired by the well-renowned artist Michael Adams is Pope Francis' favorite. He brought a statue of this in Argentina to keep near his room where he writes his prayer requests to the saint on paper and puts these underneath the statue. This is a quite symbolic position of the Gospel: it was during his sleep that an angel of the Lord communicates with St. Joseph. Sometimes we need help to quiet ourselves so we can hear God's voice; help to get up, or simply feel weighed down by our troubles, let us take a moment or perhaps slip a note under his sleeping statue, near his heart and pray that through the intercession of St. Joseph, he will guide and protect us.

Story Behind the Product
