Story Behind the Product

St. Teresa of Calcutta also known as Mother Teresa was born as Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu in Skopje, Macedonia, on August 26, 1910. Her family was of Albanian descent. Mother Teresa’s life began in Skopje, Yugoslavia, and ended in Calcutta. During her later years, Saint Teresa spoke out against contraception, abortion, and divorce until she suffered ill health and had a heart attack in 1989. She was the recipient of numerous honours, including the 1979 Nobel Price for Peace. Mother Teresa was beatified by Pope John Paul II on October 19, 2003 and was canonized by Pope Francis on September 4, 2016.
