During the course of the liturgical year, the regular rhythm of the liturgy is varied and enriched with memorable additions: blessings on the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord and Ash Wednesday, processions on Palm Sunday of the Lord's Passion and the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi), and sequences on Easter Sunday (and through the octave) and the Solemnity of Pentecost.
