Story & Symbolism:
It was on that night in 1830 when St. Catherine Labouré obtained her second vision of Miraculous Blessed Virgin Mary, a vision that would come to be known as Our Lady of the Miraculous. The Mother of our Lord herself appeared on a white globe with a greenish serpent under her foot. The same voice also said to Catherine that she had a medal cast representing this image and that anyone who wears it would receive great graces if wore it around their neck.
