Story Behind the Product

Teresa of Avila, born Teresa Sanchez de Cepeda y Ahumada, also called St. Teresa of Jesus, was a Spanish noblewoman who was called to convent life in the Catholic Church. She died in 1582, was canonized in 1622, and was named the first woman Doctor of the Church in 1970.
