The feasts that move

These follow Easter or the Sundays of the season, so their dates change every year. Keep them the way the Church does — by rule, not by date.

Dates follow the General Roman Calendar with the proper calendar for the dioceses of the United States. When a memorial falls on a Sunday, a solemnity, or within Holy Week, the higher celebration takes precedence. Prayers on this page are traditional texts. Emblems are the historic attributes of sacred art. Check your parish bulletin or diocesan ordo for local patrons and dedications.
