Historia y simbolismo:

Jesucristo es el Verbo de Dios hecho carne, redimió al hombre con Su Muerte en la Cruz. Su misión divina es continuada por el ministerio de la Iglesia. Cristo significa el Ungido (Mesías). Jesús es el “Cristo”, porque Dios ungió a Jesús de Nazaret con el Espíritu Santo y con gran poder (Hechos 10:38). Él era "el que ha de venir" (Lc 7,19) y la esperanza de Israel (Hch 28,20). Jesucristo es el único "Hijo de Dios" eterno con relación única y eterna con Dios, Su Padre (Jn 1:14, 18; 3:16, 18). Jesús es Dios mismo (Jn 1,1). Para ser cristiano, uno debe creer que Jesucristo es el Hijo de Dios (Hechos 8:37; 1 Jn 2:23) y que Jesús es Dios. ¡Él es Dios encarnado, el Alfa y la Omega y Dios nuestro Salvador!

Story and Symbolism

Jesus Christ is the Word of God made flesh, He redeemed man by His Death on the Cross. His divine mission is continued by the ministry of the Church. Christ means the Anointed One (Messiah). Jesus is the “Christ”, for God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with great power (Acts 10:38). He was the one "who is to come" (Lk 7:19), and the hope of Israel (Acts 28:20). Jesus Christ is the only eternal "Son of God" with unique and eternal relationship to God, His Father (Jn 1:14, 18; 3:16, 18). Jesus is God himself (Jn 1:1). To be a Christian, one must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (Acts 8:37; 1 Jn 2:23) and that Jesus is God! He is God incarnate, the Alpha and Omega and God our Savior!
