Story Behind the Product

At a monastery, Fiacre was raised. Monasteries were repositories of learning during the Dark Ages, and it is here that Fiacre became a skillful user of healing herbs. Disciples flocked to him as he earned fame for his knowledge of plants and healing skills. Here, in honor of the Virgin Mary, Fiacre founded an oratory and a hospice where he invited strangers. He himself retired to a lonely cell in his garden, living a life of prayer and manual labor.
