Angels & Saints,Pray For Us
Every day of the year, the Church honors one of her saints,
alive in Christ, and interceding still before His throne.
Read their story. Pray their prayer. Ask them to pray for you.

The Movable Feasts
Easter moves. It keeps time by the moon, the way the Lord's own Passover did — the first Sunday after the first full moon following the spring equinox, a rule the Church settled at Nicaea in 325. More than a dozen celebrations follow it around the calendar. The dates wander. The mystery holds still.

Fix that date and the rest of the year falls into place. This is why the Church counts by rule.
Dates follow the General Roman Calendar with the proper calendar for the dioceses of the United States, computed from the rule rather than transcribed. When a memorial falls on a Sunday, a solemnity, or within Holy Week, the higher celebration takes precedence. Prayers on this page are traditional texts or written for this calendar. The stained-glass panels are original artwork built from each saint's liturgical color and traditional attribute. For local patrons, dedications and anniversaries, check your parish bulletin or diocesan Ordo.
